Complexity 2018:  Innovations in Weaving
is the biennial juried members' exhibit of the international organization, Complex Weavers. It will be held in Metro Gallery, Reno, NV, USA.  Non-members may submit their work if they first join Complex Weavers and membership must be maintained throughout the exhibit.

Complex Weavers is pleased to announce that Kay Faulkner, Janice Lessman-Moss and Jette Vandermeiden are the jurors.  Up to 3 entries may be submitted with a non-refundable fee of $20 per entry.

Entries must be handwoven, designed and executed by the entrant.  Works must be original, not executed under supervision or using a kit, and completed after July 2016. Tapestry weaving is not eligible for entry.  Entries must not have been published in any print publication prior to submission.

Complex weavers and the gallery reserve the right to reject work that does not meet eligibility requirements or that differs substantially from the images submitted.

Accepted work must be received ready to exhibit and will be subject to final evaluation upon receipt.  Artists must supply any special protective items such as Plexiglas cases.

Neither Complex Weavers nor the gallery will conduct sales of exhibited work.

You may submit up to 3 items on this entry form.  Your inputs can be saved anytime for later completion by clicking SAVE DRAFT button.

Submission will be easier if you collect needed information in advance.  In addition to things typically required for entries (category, title, JPG images, materials, techniques, dimensions, weight, photographer, insurance value), the gallery requires a resume/biography that is no more than 3 pages in length.  Each entry needs to have a brief description of your focus or inspiration.  Fields that are blind to the jurors are noted.

Payment occurs at the end of the form and is according to the number of entries (1-$20, 2-$40, 3-$60).  You must select the correct number of entries and $ amount from the dropdown list.

A separate email with jury results will be sent for each entry.

Artists are responsible for ensuring their personal information such as email address, phone and street address are kept up-to-date in Submittable throughout the entry and exhibit periods.
